A community council is a local, voluntary body of elected residents that acts as the most local tier of representation, voicing local views to authorities, influencing decisions, and often managing local assets. While not part of local government, they work alongside it, promoting community well-being through activities like local projects, events, and campaigns, ensuring residents have a say in issues affecting their daily lives.
